The seven articles posted gained a total of 15 comments (to this day); the most of which were published on Wednesdays.

Seeing as I post every Tuesday afternoon, the greater share of my audience see it the following day on their way to and from work, or even during their breaks. This would also grant them an opportunity to read the articles in a calmer fashion, having left behind a hectic weekend, and be able to digest the cintent shared, and present their views on the matters discussed.

The post which gained the highest number of views was, also to this day, "The Secret Behind Twitter, Marketing and Good Storytelling", published on January 28, 2018.

Facebook Statistics



With 463 friends and six publications promoting Alien Apple's entries, I've participated in two different discussion groups dedicated to creative and script writing.


Facebook was not the most effective social media network to promote my blog posts, falling behind Twitter in terms of Shares and Likes.


VLOG Statistics




Alien Apples opens a portal to YouTube! On February 06, 2018, 
I published my first video blog.

Sadly, it collected a low number of views. Perhaphs, taking into account the scarce amount of time users have on the Web (and the manner in which we all try to avoid anything which lasts over two minutes), I should have promoted the Vlog with a more pronounced effort, due to these reasons.

In the future, I shall stick to more traditional social media supports, such as posts and Tweets; since Vlogging is confined to a limited series of products and services.

To this day, the seven Tweets promoting the content on Alien Apples have gained a total of fourteen followers and ten interactions from fans.

In a period of 69 days, @alien_apples gained 238 impressions!

With this blog, Twitter will remain the cornerstone of the promotional activity for my site. I learned that employing storytelling methods is a prime tool for spreading through Twitter, as users shall not only be eager to share and divulge your publications (thus sharing the content and attracting new fans); but it presents the ideal, brief format which makes spreading a message                                                        in the modern world a breeze.

LinkedIn Statistics

These past two years, I've dedicated a lot of time to optimizing my LinkedIn profile, ensuring that recruiters who are searching for someone with my skillset shall be able to locate and contact in the most efficient manner possible.
This platform is the 'Great Unknown' of social media networks, since users tend to focus on others, such as Facebook and Twitter. However, from a professional point of view, we can all agree that LinkedIn is truly the Facebook of companies, both from a prospective employer's point of view, as from an aspiring job-seeker!

By allowing users to follow the progress of their star companies, and preferred public figures (I follow John Lasseter, the creative director of Pixar Animation Studios; James Lange, the Strategy and Operations Manager at Google; and Conrad Vernon, one of the animators for the Shrek franchise.

These three professionals not only work in three of my star companies, but also occupy positions which I aspire to reach in the future. Being able to track their actions and professional development presents a marvelous learning opportunity.

By employing LinkedIn strategically, I shall build a network centered on my aspirations and interests, thus aiding the development of my personal, as well as my professional brand.

As the end of the course comes to an end, as the author of Alien Apples, I've had the chance to cast back to the very first post, and study in greater depth the steady growth the blog has gained thanks to its amazing and faithful followers.

With new fans coming in every day, thanks to posts shared on social media and through search engines, this site shall be able to learn and teach, share and gather, knowledge, experience and ideas with a variety of other authors and artists who share the same passions and pursuits as I.

By optimizing my presence on social platforms, and developing the Vlogging side of my network; always aspiring to cater to my audience, offer the best work I can, and stay true to my voice.
